The Three Question Personality Test. Another Sad News. Wordless Wednesday.
Wednesday, April 09, 2008
from one of Ate Agring's blog.
Your Personality Is |
![]() You are both logical and creative. You are full of ideas. You are so rational that you analyze everything. This drives people a little crazy! Intelligence is important to you. You always like to be around smart people. In fact, you're often a little short with people who don't impress you mentally. You seem distant to some - but it's usually because you're deep in thought. Those who understand you best are fellow Rationals. In love, you tend to approach things with logic. You seek a compatible mate - who is also very intelligent. At work, you tend to gravitate toward idea building careers - like programming, medicine, or academia. With others, you are very honest and direct. People often can't take your criticism well. As far as your looks go, you're coasting on what you were born with. You think fashion is silly. On weekends, you spend most of your time thinking, experimenting with new ideas, or learning new things. |
Mamma just got off the phone with a second cousin, she's leaving for the Philippinestomorrow (in a couple of hours actually). Sad news. My mum's cousin, and my parent'sNinong when they got married, passed away a few hours ago.
Please pray for his soul.
May you rest in peace, Tito Filimon.
(Hope I spelled his name right.)
I'm introducing some thing new to my blog. It's called Wordless Wednesday. If I got it right, you're supposed to blog using photo(s) of you or that you took, without any words (nge!). Ithink self explanatory naman na eh. By the way, no, I did not register, I'm not even sure ifyou're supposed to register or something. Basta, I'm doing it. Yun na 'yun. Oh, and today's an exception, next Wordless Wednesday will be wordless na talaga. Hehehe.
So... Today's Wordless Wednesday starts right after the period.

If you've been online for at least a year (if you're malas, as early as your 2nd month), surely, sooner or later you will have someone (or some people) hating on you. It doesn't really matter if you're blogging, chatting, or merely joined a social networking site. I remember pa nga na someone got into "serious" fighting at YouTube, kamusta naman 'yon? If you're online, you risk. Some people kasi, all they do is look for "things" where they can (make) leave their ugly comments on.
As long as the "hater" do not go overboard, kahit na he's hiding behind anonymity, I am okei with that. Freedom of speech nga eh, di ba? Some times naman kasi, the "commenter" gives you the opportunity to explain yourself (and what you said), and eventually you'll have a healthy conversation with them. And, sabi nga, "you can't please everybody all the time", someone will always find some thing wrong. Sana nga lang kahit na they're hating on you, they'll still respect you and the people surrounding you. It doesn't mean naman kasi na just because they hate you, you're less human than they are.
It was a lazy morning (and I don't really know why, but I was convinced that today's the 20th. weird. I had to check the calendar thrice), I woke up at 7.30, saw the clock and went back to sleep. I got up at 10.30 because a friend sent me an SMS telling me to check my inbox because she e-mailed me some pictures and wanted me to check them out. In my years of being online, I can only remember people "hating" me on 2 occasions. When I see names that I find strange with no subject, I usually just delete them. I started to feel heavy and said aloud, "ay, ang aga naman nito", when I saw an unfamiliar name with "Kiamoy" as the subject of the e-mail, in my inbox, thinking that it was one of those people who don't like me. I even giggled and thought, "ano naman kayang problema nito sa Kiamoy?", hehehe.
To my surprise....
Dear Dindin,
Hi. I hope you are doing ok. I don't know what made me write an email and send it to you. Maybe because I miss my sister more than ever and she likes eating sampaloc candies too. You don't know me, but I've been reading your blog for at least a year and a half now. You remind me so much of my sister, I now have an idea of how she will be when she turns 20, she's 15 right now. I miss her so much. Our parents are separated and she lives with my mom, so I rarely see her. Your blog makes me miss her less kasi medyo similar kayo, the way you think, the way you interact with people... kahit na hindi mo sila kilala and how you became friends with them. Basta.
[...]
I love the conversations you have and had with your father, your family and your friends. With your posts - you make me cry, you make me laugh, and make me smile. And I want to thank you for that.
Anyway, do you really want kiamoy and sampaloc candies? If yes, I can send you some, kaya lang I'm currently out of the country, I'll be back in the Philippines by April 15, and can send you the package before April 20. It's the least I can do for the joy that you bring in me. Let me know if you want me to send you some.
Sometimes, you do things just because you want to do them. It's not always necessary to know the reason why you do things. If you don't know the reason on why you do some things but you love to do them and you're not taking advantage or not stepping on anyone's toe, just continue doing them. The fact that you don't know the reason doesn't mean that other people don't either.
Thank you kind reader, I am moved. You made my day. =)

While I was (not) sleeping.
Thursday, November 29, 2007
I find it to hard to sleep when it's too quiet. The paranoia gets in. Or at least, I think it's paranoia. I start to think about things that I'd rather not think about at four (4) in the morning. I can hear my own thoughts and it's pulling me down.
I like silence. And I like to think, it keeps me motivated and it gives me direction. Thinking stimulates me. I like to wonder and I kinda like the idea of hearing my own thoughts.
What I don't like is silence at night and thinking at night, it's keeping me awake. Thinking for me is what coffee is to most people.
on other things:
Maraming salamat po Ate Rho. :)

When Reality Surpasses Fantasy...
Saturday, April 28, 2007
I'm usually cool, happy and amazed by it. I find it unique and glad to know that some things are still better in "real" life and that great things do not only happen in fairy tales. But when things like this happens... It just makes me vomit and wish that it's just a fantasy of twisted mind at work. -_-'
p.s.
I'm still waiting for summer vacation to go on full-time blog hopping... Thank you to everyone who still visits me at this blog. I still write here every now and then but if you need anything urgent you can find me at MySpace or Friendster or better yet, just send me an e-mail.
Once again, Thank you! And Happy weekend, everyone!
Always be safe. xoxo <3

Secrets Revealed...?
Saturday, February 10, 2007
This is sis lyka's utos. hehe.
Ok.. so I'm supposed to share 5 secrets (or more) then pass this on to 5 bloggers.
Hmmm...
hhhhhhmmmmm...
hhhhhhhhhmmmmmmm...
After almost 30 mins. (of what seemed like 2 hrs.) of thinking.. I've finally come to the conclusion that it's hard for me to think of secrets. You see, I am NOT a secretive person. I am reserved, which from my point of view is 100% different from being secretive. (I know that if you look it up in a dictionary.. it'll probably have the same meaning.) The thing is, if you ask me questions, I'll give you answers. Its only a matter of asking the right questions, to get the right answers.
But I guess I'll have to give it a try anyway. So, here it goes...
- SPICE UP YOUR LIFE.
- way back in elementary 'till i was in 2 year high (i think).. i was a spice girls fan.

- SPANKING THE MONKEY.
- i found out that there's a female version of "spanking the monkey", only when i was in 3rd year high, when my guy best friend made me & 2 other friends watch the american pie.

- I'M THE MAN AND/OR THE POK-POK.
- i've always had more guy friends than girl friends and i was a lot more closer to my boy cousins than my girl cousins. when i was little one of my uncles enjoyed describing me as "his tomboy niece". when i entered the teenage life... i was then nicknamed "pok-pok" by girls who wanted to ask me to help them be noticed by one of my friends but realized that i WON'T because they were
bitchyrude to me months ago. haha!- one time, back in HS, someone who thought i was trying to steal her boyfriend for one of my girl friends also called me a "langgaw", dahil tuwing nakikita daw nya ako sa labas ng classroom eh iba-ibang grupo ang kasama ko. nung una, medyo hindi ko yon na gets... i was like, "anong koneksyon ng langgaw?", then i was told na parang langgaw daw kasi palipat-lipat ng kalabaw na dinadapuan. hahaha! whatanimagination!

- I DON'T KNOW HOW TO MAKE A BRIDGE.
- with the reputation of being one of the boys and a "langgaw", i was often asked, by both guys and girls, to be the ever-so-reliable "bridge" also known as the "ilakad mo naman ako kay... person". honestly, i didn't know what i was doing.. or what i was supposed to be doing.. but whatever i did... i was good at it. if i asked a dollar for every person who asked me to be the "bridge", i'll now have a round-trip ticket to the philippines and don't have to worry about the damn fare.

- NO FILE ATTACHED.
- i can't think of anything else to add. and for a timely secret (♥'s day is almost here! can you smell the hormones in the air?! haha!), i guess this will do. i'm afraid of the fact of being attached (well, actually not just romantically, but any kind of attachments! hehe). i've been thru constant changes for such a long time that change is the only permanent thing in my life (kung hanggang kelan, hindi ko alam). i know this has to end but for now.. i am fine with it. the mere idea of getting comfy and in any way attached to other people/things/places makes me shiver. bbbrrrr...

On Friendster & MySpace.
Saturday, January 20, 2007
FYI, I still have a week-long of being tortured at school.
Anyway, I've been receiving lots of bitchy messages on Friendster and MySpace.
I'm more of a Friendster person... Once in a blue moon, I'd add people even if I don't know them, most of the time, only to delete them after a few weeks. Almost everyone on my friend's list at Friendster are people I personally know and/or people I actually interact with (thru online messages, SMS, IM, e-mails, phone calls, etc. oh, and yes, even blog comments! haha!) or a friend of a friend. So, you see, I use Friendster for friends! haha! I joined Friendster nung mga panahong wala pa akong smart na SIM, kaya when friends asked me to join.. I did, just so I could stay in touch with them.. without them having to spend hundreds and hundreds of pesosesoses! ;)
Now, MySpace is something else.. when a friend invited me to join MySpace, I joined for.. as they say "networking", or as I put it.. "for the sake of joining". So, OO, sa MySpace, add lang ako ng add, kahit sinong ipakto/a ka pa. hehehe. AND if I don't have the slightest idea on who
Long story short:
People on Friendster send me messages telling me how snob, maarte at feeling kung sino daw ako.. because I won't add them while MySpace people prefer calling me maleducata because I refuse to reply to their "can we be friends?" messages.
Hah! Very Friendly people.
THE HOTTEST WINTER.

Yeah, yeah.. I know.. Matagal na tapos ang pasko.. BUT still.. ate RACKY, here's my super-duper late thank you!ate RACKY, maraming, maraming, maraming salamat po! ;)
p.s.
tanong lang, family business ba yung nasa bote? May nabasa akong apelyido eh.. hehehe.
