Of What May Be.
The truth is, the biggest part of me cannot wait until it's summer and I can go back home.
This country, this city, the people in this city, the people I
I used to be one of the most positive person, thoughtful, idealistic, fair, productive, patient, and then this country and its people happened. I've always had this façade of being the most pessimistic person in a room, but people close to me knew I am the most idealistic person there is. Probably one of the major reasons why I always try my best to find the goodness in everyone, and probably also one of the major reasons why I am always "used and abused", as Asmae would say. I do not want to be a cynic, and I'm afraid that slowly I am turning to be exactly that kind of person.
Inside I am crying for the version of me that is slowly fading, being drowned by this newer, meaner, version I am becoming.
Maybe I'm overreacting, or maybe I am not.

Pilipinas, when?
One of my brothers, who lives in the US with his family, came here for Kuya Saldy's funeral. It has been 10 years since they last saw each other. Everyone knows that Papà wanted me to move and live in the US, he says I'll have a better future and more opportunities in the land of milk and honey. I was planned to move to the US in 2006, but Papà died a year before so the plan did not push through. Last year, around Christmas season (after more than a year of thinking), I decided to come back here, work (seriously) for at least a year to save some, apply to have a Filipino citizenship, and move back to Pilipinas.
The whole time Kuya was here, he's been convncing me to move to the US instead, and stay with him and his family, until I can live on my own. And I kept on convincing him that I'll be fine and hopefully will make it in the Philippines, and if all things fail, I can always go back here to Italia. The thing is... He succeeded and convinced my siblings, and some of my relatives that moving to the US is the better choice.
Pilipinas, mauudlot ka na naman ba?
P.S.
I would like to thank everyone for the prayers, the thought, the messages, and for "being with us" in this time of grief. We really appreciate it very much. We would like to let you know that the family and I are feeling much better now.

This is how I look like...
... when you wake me up, buzzing the hell out of our entry phone at 7.55 AM, especially when I dozed off at 4 something in the morning, and I haven't had a cup of coffee yet. And all you want to do is talk, talk, talk about your ex-boyfriend, your ex-boyfriend, and your ex-boyfriend while I'm still in my pajamas.
But because I love you, it's all good.
Have a safe trip!!! I'll miss you!
There. You wanted a "grumpy" picture, now you have it. =p

What the ... ?
Uy, I'm home early! Actually I did not go to school, may sciopero (strike) daw eh. Ayun. Wala lang.
For almost a week now, I've been exchanging Friendster messages with a schoolmate back when I was in grade school. We're not really friends, I don't even remember his last name, and the last time I saw him was 1996.
I'm trying to be as friendly as I can, because we were schoolmates, and because he remembers my full name and my cousin's full name. After the "Hi, Hello, What have you been up to?", eto na:

Am I the only one who's irritated with this? Am I being my-too-sensitive-self here?

Or maybe not. Gggrrrr...
Un-Christmas.
Of all the Christmases, this Christmas is the most Un-Christmas. I started decorating the house last December 16 and finished 2 days later, have not attended any Christmas party, and started shopping for gifts only last Saturday. I am not feeling the Christmas this year. Not yet.
Anyway, I just realize some thing yesterday: The best time to buy all your Christmas presents is 3 days before the 25th of December at 8 o'clock in the morning, when everyone else is still at work.

When Reality Surpasses Fantasy...
I'm usually cool, happy and amazed by it. I find it unique and glad to know that some things are still better in "real" life and that great things do not only happen in fairy tales. But when things like this happens... It just makes me vomit and wish that it's just a fantasy of twisted mind at work. -_-'
p.s.
I'm still waiting for summer vacation to go on full-time blog hopping... Thank you to everyone who still visits me at this blog. I still write here every now and then but if you need anything urgent you can find me at MySpace or Friendster or better yet, just send me an e-mail.
Once again, Thank you! And Happy weekend, everyone!
Always be safe. xoxo <3

Fool-itika.
p.s.
Please tell me this is a joke.
I think everyone of us is born to do great things in our own fields.
And if we are lucky enough to find that field before we are TOO old,
I think there we should stay.

I am bored.
We were supposed to have our literature long (long, long, long..) test.. but it was moved to a later date (we were informed about the changes only 4 hours before the test), Our prof's dad was hospitalized.. so I just decided to stay home.. and not risk to freeze outside. (fyi, para kaming nasa horror flick.. there's thick fog everywhere! bbbrrrr...). Nasayang lang pag-aaral ko kay foscolo at manzoni ng buong umaga. Hmmpp.. ito na lang ang pinag-tripan ko dito sa bahay. hehehe.

more tripping photos here.
merong akong bagong english class episode.. pero next time ko na iblo-blog..

What's next?
I still can't come up with anything to blog about.
I'm feeling so lazy. I have too much school works to do.
Oh, Don't you just love the Holidays!
Times when teachers finally have an excuse to give their poor
students tons and tons and tons and loads of school works to do.
I think I might have to do something with the pintura of my beloved blog.
Afterall, even pessimists do celebrate Christmas. Anong koneksyon? Oh well.
Have a happy Sunday, everyone! muah!

Bago ko pala makalimutan,
Here are some photos from South Border's show at BBKINGS last Nov. 18, 2006.

Thanks again, Emilie!
Ok.. that's all for now. Enjoy life and always be safe! ;-)
